Bianca is one of the four Kuska students entering in 2012.  She has been dreaming about studying Marketing  for a while now, and with your help she will be able to enroll in classes in March. Let's give her a hand!
Kuska, Inc. is a U.S. non-profit organization, exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Under state law, which will vary from state to state, and federal law, which may change annually, monetary donations made in the U.S. are tax deductible.

Mission Statement

Despite the high cost of university-level education in the United States and many other developed countries, we tend to take these opportunities for granted because tuition and other expenses are totally funded or at least subsidized by the government, or provided through private scholarships. However, in many developing countries, such as Peru, the tables are turned. In these countries tuition costs are quite cheap, but even so few people can afford them.

As a Kuska donor, you will be directly helping a student pursue an academic or technical degree that will help him or her towards a brighter future. By donating a few dollars per month, you will be able to lift a young adult out of the rut of poverty by helping them to achieve academic goals previously thought impossible to obtain. Degree in hand, these empowered individuals will be able to not only better provide for their families, but also to develop and improve their communities and the Peruvian economy as a whole

The Mission of Kuska is to provide opportunities for higher learning at accredited educational institutions to individuals who could not otherwise finance their education, despite intellectual ability and a strong desire to obtain higher education. This relationship will be internet-mediated and transparent on both sides: students will demonstrate their grades and progress by posting this information to their website profile, so that financial donors will be able to see exactly how their money is being used. Donors/lenders can use this information to decide whether they want to continue funding the student. Allowing students to achieve their educational dreams will help them become independent professionals with the capabilities to not only rise above poverty, but to improve their communities.
